You can make real what you’ve pictured in your mind by faith. This is how to receive that much-desired miracle.

TO THE BIBLE Romans 4:18 NIV

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

LET’S TALK

The life you’ve been called to live is the faith-life, and it requires that you say “yes” to God’s Word and live accordingly. Abraham is a very inspiring example of this faith-life. In Romans 4:17, Paul says Abraham believed “…the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” (NIV).

Therefore, when God changed his name from “Abram” to “Abraham,” he swiftly adjusted to his new status. He began introducing himself to others as “Abraham–the father of many,” even though he didn’t yet have a child. That was how he translated his hope to faith and received the promise. So when the Bible says Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness (Romans 4:3), it’s not talking about mental assent. It means Abraham made an unqualified committal to God. He cast himself on the Lord, expressing absolute confidence and trust in Him—that’s faith!

Abraham made real the hope he had envisioned. He believed God had given him a son, and he spoke and acted like a father, even though he was yet to have a biological son. Ultimately, he received his miracle—Isaac! Remember that you’re Abraham’s seed; you’ve been called to the faith-life, where you create substance from your hope with your words of faith.

Go Deeper: Romans 4:19-20

Speak: I’m who God says I am. I can do what He says I can do, and I have what He says I have. My faith is the evidence that every blessing of God stated concerning me in His Word is my present-hour possession. I’m in the centre of God’s will for my life, where all things function to my advantage, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Act: Are there things you’re trusting God for? With faith, begin to picture them in your heart, and boldly call them into being without doubting.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
