Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (1 John 3:2).

There are different kinds of life; there is the plant life, the animal life and the human life. Every man that’s born into this world has the human life. However, the life which the new creation in Christ Jesus has is heavenly; it didn’t originate from this world. 1 Corinthians 15:48 says, “As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.” The moment you received the Lord Jesus into your heart, you were given a new kind of life. Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). This life isn’t susceptible to sickness, failure, defeat or depression. This is the very life of the Father. Man, in all his goodness and kindness, is nothing before the Lord until he receives this glorious life in him (Isaiah 64:6). The reason you can stand before the Lord unashamed with hands lifted in worship, honour and adoration is that you have this life in you. This is why I always thank God everyday for the opportunity He’s given me to be identified with Him. I thank Him for the gift of His Holy Spirit Who lives in my heart forever (John 14:16). I rejoice knowing that I am a partaker of His life and nature (2 Peter 1:4). I thank Him for giving me the life that makes all the difference. What about you?

The Overcoming Life

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”  (1 John 4:4).

When you became a child of God by the new birth, you received eternal life; the overcoming life. Now you can live a life of victory all the way! God has given us a quality of life that’s different from what the rest of the world has. Though we are in the world, we’re no longer of the world. We’re born of the Spirit. God gave us this life through His Son Jesus. “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” (1 John 5:11-12). Now you have to believe in the life that is in you. Whosoever believes and confesses that Jesus is the Christ is born of God (1 John 5:1), and whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world (1 John 5:4). This means that anything that originates from God is an overcomer. The Word of God has come from God, it originates from Him. That same overcoming Word is in your mouth and it has divine abilities when uttered by the lips of faith. The Word of God and the life of God have made you an overcomer. Don’t accept defeat. Don’t think defeat, don’t think failure, don’t think lack, because you’re a child of God. God wants you to have the victory-mentality. You are an overcomer today and always!

The Presence To Cherish

“Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues” (Psalm 31:20).

Thank God everyday for the opportunity He’s given you to be identified with Him. The Lord has made His abode in your heart and honoured you with Zoe; His kind of life. That’s why 2 Peter 1:4 says we are partakers of the divine nature. This life isn’t susceptible to sickness, failure, despondency or depression. This is the best life anyone could ever live on earth; it’s the same life with that of our Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus. Man in all his goodness and kindness is nothing before the Lord, until he receives this glorious life in him. The reason you can stand before the Lord unashamed with hands lifted in worship, honour and adoration is that you’re His holy vessel, His tabernacle, for He lives inside you. His presence takes sickness, fear, poverty, depression or unhappiness away from your life. That presence causes men to favour you and money to come to you by free course. His presence opens the door, which no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). You carry the presence of the Lord with you everywhere you go. The Bible says, “…in thy (the Lord’s) presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalm 16:11). You must learn to cherish His presence in you at all times. The Psalmist understood just how important the Lord’s presence truly is when He cried out in Psalm 51:11, “Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” Also, Moses being aware that the success of his ministry depended on that presence pleaded with the Lord, “…If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence” (Exodus 33:15). You also must cultivate a passion for the presence of God, and, praise and thank Him for the privilege of being identified with Him.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
