The Mystery of the word of God is CHRIST.

Published

on

The Mystery of the word is CHRIST. By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

As the Mystery of the Gospel is Christ.

I want us to look at Christ from another perspective.

By the way, in dealing with the crisis we currently face, we don’t rely on the support of the masses. In history, They have usually made Us the subject of their persecution.

But i want to show you how we can completely annihilate this thing, and they won’t know what hit them.
Already we are causing changes. Many are not happy with us.
In some countries, they are trying to make some illegal things mandatory.
Formal education is being thrown into the wind right now. They talk about online learning. But they don’t care about the billions who have no access to the internet.
Formal education came from the church, so they don’t know what to do with it because it was never their idea.

The ‘deep church’ name was given by a sound arch bishop from Rome, who stated their activities very clearly. They pretend in their prayers and pretend to be the same with us until they discover who they really are. They hate our truth.
That they say the same things with us doesn’t mean they are like us.
They don’t change. They have not repented. Don’t be deceived.
Now, some are pretending to be angry about the closing of churches….but it’s a lie. They love it!
If they didn’t love it..from the beginning. They would have known what to do. But they have never loved to listen to God; their own minds have always been their god.

The Holy spirit has identified who is responsible for all this mess… The Prince of Assyria.
In the latter times. (After the rapture), the Prince of Babylon will take over.

Through our prayers, we have dealt with this spirit.

Isaiah 14: 24 -27 ESV
“As I have planned, so shall it be….”
Isa 30:30-31 ESV, KJV
The Assyrian will be terror-stricken/Beaten down.. at the voice of the Lord. Hallelujah!!!!

THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD

John gave us the story of the word. There’s no better way to understand the book of John, than to understand the purpose for his writing.

John 1:1
You would have expected him to say the word IS God…instead of WAS (Past tense). It should raise questions in your mind.
The word WAS with God; the word WAS God… So what happened to him?

V2-3 The word was called a HIM, Not an IT. He gives PERSONALITY to the word.
V4: everything about him is written in past tense ‘was’.

V5: the light SHINES. whatever happened to the word, He never ceased to shine.
Darkness could not overcome it. Never has; Never will!!

V6-8: He begins to talk about someone else (John).
V9; the word is the true light. It has something to do with everybody’s life. Nobody can truly say there is no God. Even the most God-hating Atheist knows. There is a light inside them that tells them He exists.

There was the word
The word was with God.
He was present in the beginning with God.
He was God.
He made all things.
The word is life.

V10: The world was made by Him
He wasn’t talking about the ‘incarnation’ here. At this point, there’s no ‘Jesus’.

The world that the word made didn’t know Him.

There is a truth that’s being revealed about God’s word and John is helping us reveal it.
V10; this ‘world’ is the Cosmos

V11: His own, means ‘Privately owned/Separated to himself’. Its not referring to the whole world.

John is telling us a story of THE WORD. How that it was there with God from the beginning of all the things he wants to write about.

(God preexisted the creation. He goes from the dateless past to the dateless future)

V12-13: He goes into a Parenthetical discussion.
They didn’t have to be there. It was a digression which was important to his story. But its not in the line of the discussion.
He weaves them in and out for the purpose of clarity but not so we get carried away by the digression.

Now read 10, 11 and Jump to 14.

V14: ‘And’ could be read as ‘So’.
‘Was made flesh’ actually should be translated ‘became flesh’.
The word came to live and tabernacle among us.
(This same word that was with God and was God)
At a certain time in History, He picked out something that he separated unto himself and said ‘this will be mine’ after he had given Adam dominion over the world, and making a covenant with Abraham, whereby he purchased a people as His.
(REF: Exodus 15:16. Psalm 74:1-2. Deut 32:6)
Israel by covenant was God’s own!!! He BOUGHT THEM BY COVENANT.
God had sent several prophets to them, but they turned them down.

The Voice of God is the Holy spirit.
The word of God is Jesus.

The voice of God came walking in the Garden
Voice without words is Sound.
Voice amplifies the words (the Logos)
John 1:1- That Logos is the thoughts, ideas and opinions of God.
The Holy Ghost amplifies and transmits the message, thoughts and ideas of God.
But the Idea is the Logos!

V11: When the prophets were talking to them, It was God talking. But they rejected them. They didn’t embrace him.

V14: The word was always in the world. Since they didn’t receive him through the prophets, he now Chose to come in Flesh and live among them.

(Imagine if the words you are listening to now, suddenly form a person in front of you)

The word of God was full of Grace and Reality.
He was kind to you, No matter what you had done. He was Graceful and Gracious.

This is the picture that John paints of this Man of Galilee.

John 6:48-49
Nobody knew anything about Manna till it came.
V50. This bread COMES from Heaven (He was talking about the Holy spirit)
V51: The word proceeds from the Father as the spirit does. Every time you hear the word of God, it is coming to you from Heaven.
E.g. You are hearing the word of God right now in your home, but it does not originate from your home.

E.g. in Moses day, when God spoke from Heaven, they would hear it from the fire, or from the Mountain.
That’s the same way he speaks from Heaven and you hear it in your heart.

(John 2:19. His body was not just a living tabernacle. It was a transformation of the word into Flesh)

John 1:14- The word did not PUT ON flesh. He BECAME flesh.
John 6:51- what Jesus is saying is …his flesh, bones and blood was THE WORD.
V52-53 Except you eat his flesh and drink his blood. You have no life in you.
54-60- Jesus said all these strong words in this synagogue. Even his disciples got concerned.
61-62; The resurrection of Jesus is the most important thing to the church, but the most EXTRAORDINARY thing that happened on this earth was what Jesus was talking about here… THE ASCENSION! It is so significant. The church is very ignorant of this.

Jesus didn’t suddenly disappear.
He levitated!
He ascended!!
This was PROOF that he came from Heaven.
This was what convinced even his siblings.
He LEVITATED BEFORE ALL HIS DISCIPLES!!!
He really ascended!!!
On and on until he went into the clouds!
Hallelujah!!!
It DAWNED ON THEM that He was truly God!! That He was who he claimed to be.

They couldn’t talk about it; because it was so extraordinary.
God was in their midst and they didn’t know.
He was washing plates with them and they didn’t know.
But he was truly God!!!!!

He ascended into Heaven and from thence he shall come to Judge the living and the dead.
(Only the Roman Catholics talk about this).

The day the revelation of the ASCENSION dawns on you, you will be transformed.

John 6:63- It is the spirit that gives life.
The words that Jesus speaks are Spirit and Life.

Eat it. Digest it.
Get voracious with the word of God.

People ask ‘why do you preach so much’? Its because that’s where the power is.
There is something about the word of God.
The Greatest thing in your life is the word of God.
You came from the word of God.
The word Created you.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Published

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord. He’s come to dwell within you and has mingled with your spirit.
His purpose from the foundation of the world was to be inseparably united with you.

He’s one with Jesus; He was so much one with Jesus that when Philip asked Jesus in John 14, “Show us the Father and we will be satisfied,” His response to Philip was, “Have I been such a long time with you and have you not known me, Philip?” Then He added, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me.”

He wanted us to understand His oneness with the Father, and that oneness with the Father is what He brought us into. 1 John 1:3 NKJV tells us,* “…truly our fellowship (our oneness, our union) *is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.”

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

Jesus prayed about this before He went to the Cross; referring to all those who’d believe in Him, He said, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us…” (John 17:21). He so wanted us to be inseparably one with Him and the Father that the world wouldn’t be able to separate us from Him. And that’s what has happened. Even the angels are enthused by this, because they now look at us, and see Jesus! That’s Christianity—Christ in you; the Father’s Kingdom at work in you. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This was all God ever wanted, but it was a mystery from the foundation of the world (Colossians 1:26-27). But blessed be God! The Lord Jesus gave us His life to make it possible. Now, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us, because we’re one with Him; you’re His heir, and a joint-heir with Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, what a great honour and privilege it is to be inseparably one with you. I’ll always be a victor, and walk in sync with your perfect will for me because you guide me in all things. Thank you for the guidance, promptings and blessings I receive through the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
*Ephesians 5:30; *
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

*Colossians 1:18; *
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 15:5 AMPC
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

I declare that I'm in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!
