The Mirror Of God is the Word of God

“For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it {and} being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror; For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like” (James 1:23-24 AMP).

The Word of God is the Mirror of God. The Word isn’t just a set of rules and regulations we abide by; it’s the revelation of the Christian. The Word shows you who God has made you to be. You don’t tell a mirror what you want to see; it’s designed to reflect your image to you. In other words, you’re what you see in the mirror. I’m sure there were times you had to adjust your hair because you weren’t pleased with what you saw in your mirror. But the Mirror of God is nothing like the one you have on the wall of your room. The Mirror of God is supernatural. It’ll change you; all you need to do is keep looking at it. “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18 NAS). There’s a transformation, a metamorphosis, a transfiguration that takes place in you every time you look into the Mirror of God. Unlike that well-known fairytale, you don’t say, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful person?” You don’t tell the Mirror what you feel, think or see. You don’t say, “I’m very sad; I’m weak; I’m a failure.” Rather you say, “That same Spirit which dwells in Jesus Christ is in me. He vitalizes my body right now. I’m beautiful and I have the life of God in me. I carry the glory of God and His presence with me everywhere I go!” When you wake up in the morning, you say, “Lord I’m having a blessed day today, I’m walking in the glory of God, things are working for my good,” and you go ahead to declare what you want to see in your day. If you’re going for a job interview declare that you have the job. If you’re going for an exam, declare your success. When you release yourself to the transformation of the Mirror of God by the Holy Spirit, then you’re on your way to the top.

The Life-Changing Gospel

“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end…” (Isaiah 9:7).

If you were under the bridge when Jesus met you—you didn’t have a home, a friend and food to eat—He’ll take you out of poverty and change your life forever. Did you know this was one of the reasons the Roman government during the days of the apostles was against Christianity? The emperors of the time discovered that everyone that received the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ, no matter how low he was, soon began walking and talking like a king. Some of their servants who believed in Jesus no longer talked or behaved like slaves. They weren’t rude or anything like that but, there was just something about them that gave them human dignity. “If we don’t do something about this, one day these people will take over,” the authorities must have thought, and they began to persecute them. They didn’t care much about religion. They knew religion brought people down and enslaved them by manmade rules and regulations. But this ‘new religion’ seemed to stir the people up instead: the guy may not have any money in his pocket, but he walks and talks like a king nevertheless. That’s what Christianity does; it stirs up your excellent spirit. When you keep talking like that it wouldn’t be too long before it starts to show in your life that way. Can you imagine what was on the minds of the authorities? They had thought they’d finally got rid of this Jesus for good, only to find out He was more dangerous ‘dead’ than He was alive. Little did they know that He was still alive, living forever at the right hand of the Father. So we are here today to remind every living creature of this truth. Jesus came into your life to lift you and give you hope and a future. More than all that, He came to deliver to you an inheritance. When He lifts you, no man or demon, nothing created can bring you down. So you see, no country or government can stop the prosperity of God’s people. Hallelujah!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

I declare that I'm in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
