How To Influence Your World For Jesus Christ

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

There’s promotion for anyone who wins a sinner to the Lord. The Lord Jesus said, “…there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10). Surely, God will promote those who bring so much joy to heaven through soulwinning; I’m talking about that man or woman who would willingly say, “Here I am, Lord. Use me to touch lives and to bring the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus to the nations.” God chose you, filled you with His Spirit and His Word so you can make a positive impact in your generation. He wants you to shine as light to your world (Matthew 5:14). He wants you to sow yourself into somebody else’s life. In other words, He wants you to invest some of the things He has deposited in you into somebody else’s life. When you invest what God gave you into someone else’ life, you’re promoted in the realm of the spirit. However, you can’t give what you don’t have. If you haven’t invested in yourself, you can’t invest anything in someone else. Therefore, you must release yourself to the Holy Spirit. Allow Him to train and build you in the Word of God, until the character of your heavenly Father becomes evident in your life. Also, you must learn to pray with passion for lost souls, both in your understanding and in other tongues. These are the things that will engender a greater influence of the Holy Spirit in your life, and His fire will burn so much in your heart that everyone that comes around you catches the fire and is influenced positively for Jesus. Hallelujah!

Passion For The Lost

“…there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10).

Our purpose for remaining on earth today is to win souls unto the Lord and mature in Christ. We’re not here just to accumulate wealth and riches that’ll perish with this world, these aren’t of any eternal value. When you study the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus, you’ll observe that reaching the people was the focus of His ministry. An example was when He took time to preach to the woman at the well, even though He was very tired and hungry (John 4:5-26). When the disciples saw the way His face lit up as He spoke to the woman, they were convinced He had eaten something. When they asked Him about it, His response was, “…My meat (food) is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” (John 4:34); put differently, “My nourishment is to win souls.” Just like Jesus, I love to win souls; I love to tell people about His love for mankind. This is the reason we’re reaching people through every available means with this gospel of the grace of God. The Lord Jesus said, “…I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10), and He used the parable of the prodigal son to elucidate on this statement. This parable is of utmost importance. Consider the father’s response to his son’s return and the ensuing homecoming celebration. You see, every time you win a soul to the Lord, you’re creating much celebration in heaven. Just as the Lord Jesus said, there’s much rejoicing in heaven when a soul converts to the Lord. The angels celebrate so much over one sinner that repents because that’s the purpose for the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says the Lord is unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and for this reason He patiently waits for us to win them. Make soulwinning your utmost priority today; let your mind be preoccupied with it. Begin to come up with effective strategies to win more and more people to the Lord. Let’s make it an endless celebration for the angels, and the hosts of heaven.

Tell The Whole World

“…As for us, there’s no question-we can’t keep quiet about what we’ve seen and heard” (Acts 4:17-20 MSG).

The devil has never wanted the gospel of Christ preached and has been trying all means to stop it. He doesn’t want people to hear what Jesus has done for them and that’s why we have to tell everybody that the Word works. I once heard R. W. Schambach tell of his first experience in casting out demons. He commanded the demons in a lady to come out of her but they adamantly refused to leave. Defiant, the demons said to Schambach, “We’re not coming out and we’ll wear you out.” “We don’t wear out, devil” replied Schambach. I want you to note that he didn’t say, “You will not wear me out.” His statement is another way of saying, “We belong to a class that cannot be worn out.” We’re special, unique and different from the kind of beings that could be worn out. Then he went on to say, “My elder brother Jesus defeated you on Calvary and He put His foot on your neck.” As he said that, the demon shouted, “Don’t say that!” but he said it again in spite of the demon’s protest. Finally, the demon said, “Alright, I know I am defeated, but please don’t tell everybody.” According to R.W. Schambach, he made up his mind to tell the whole world that Jesus has defeated the devil. This is what the Lord anointed His children to do. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:13-14). You must realize that you’re the preacher in your world; your home, office, class or neighbourhood. You can’t afford to fold your arms and not do anything, while those around you continue on the hapless journey of destruction, bondage, sickness and poverty. God has anointed you to deliver men from the bondage of the enemy, therefore it’s high time you be about your heavenly Father’s business, for many more need the message He put in your heart.
