How to Develop Your Human Spirit As A Christian

“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:25).

It is the desire of every believer to make spiritual advancement and grow in the things of God. Unfortunately, not many know how to do so. This is why I’m sharing with you today on how to develop your spirit. In order to develop your spirit, you must practise the Word of God. Practising the Word is doing what the Word says to do. Maybe you don’t have any money on you and you’re worried about what you will eat and wear, plus all these, your rent is overdue. What you need do at this point is take your eyes off your needs and practise Philippians 4:6; “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers” (TLB). When you make God and His Word the first resort in your life, your attitude to life will change and you’ll reap what the Word says. As you practise the Word, worry, doubt, fear and unbelief will be removed from you, and new words of faith and success will fill your mouth. Refuse to complain and murmur about your situation, for complainers have no place in the Word of God. Your response to the Word of God is so important as faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. This is the reason you must make a quality decision today, to practise the Word of God no matter the challenge you’re going through. You must decide to move forward, to influence people and your circumstances instead of being influenced by them.

Abide In The Vine

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:4-5).

The Lord Jesus is the Vine and we (the Church) are His branches. That means      we’re connected to Him; we’ve been pre-destined and ordained to a fruitful life; we’re born to produce results! For any branch to keep producing fruits as it should, it must remain connected to the Vine. Likewise, you must remain connected to the Lord if you desire to bear fruit continually. You must continually acknowledge that your strength isn’t in yourself but in Christ, for without Him you can do nothing (John 15:5). As I study the books of the gospel, I discover that Jesus stressed several times the fact that He didn’t come to do His own will but the will of His Father. Moreover, every time He performed a miracle, He also testified that He was only fulfilling the will of His Father. The union between the two of them is most remarkable! In John 17:22-23, Jesus prayed that we also should be included in the union with the Father. In other words, He wanted us to be perfected in this union. That means you’re in the Father through Jesus. This is why Colossians 3:3 says, “…your life is hid with Christ in God.” Now that you know you’re in the Vine, you must live as one in the vine! Let the whole world know you’re abiding in Jesus through the expression of your love for Him in words and deeds. Let this love fill your heart and mouth. You see, if you truly abide in Him and His Word abides in you, you’ll consistently speak His Word in spite of any situation. When you abide in the Lord, you acknowledge His leadership over your life; you recognize that you’re in partnership with Him; hence, you’re backed up by Deity. He becomes your personal friend. This means He’s on your mind in all you do.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
