“Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

Honour everybody irrespective of who they are. And to do this, you must walk in love.

TO THE BIBLE 1 Peter 2:17

“Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

LET’S TALK

Do you want to succeed and make good progress in life? If your answer is “Yes!” which I’m certain it is, then you must embrace a key principle of success that’ll place you at a vantage point for it, and that is “giving honour.” “Honour” basically means to show respect to, towards, or for. It means to give recognition to; to esteem another. It also means to give preference.

In the light of these definitions, our theme scripture today tells us to honour everybody irrespective of who they are. And to do this, we must walk in love, because Jesus told us to love one another. You can’t walk in love without showing honour. The verse also tells us to reverentially honour God, and finally, it says, “Honour the king.” This refers to giving honour to those who have authority over us—whether it’s at home, in the church, at school, or in the society at large.

Why do we have to honour others? Revelation 5:10 says, Christ Jesus has, “…made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” This lets you know that you’ve been raised up in Christ Jesus to reign on earth as a king and priest of God; you’re a person of honour. Therefore, always be willing to give honour, because honour begets honour. You can only receive more of what you give. If you don’t give honour, you can’t receive honour. On the other hand, the more you honour others, the more you’re honoured both by God and by men.

Pray: Dear Father, I thank you for making me worthy of honour and teaching me to honour others. I willingly give honour to others with all sincerity and love, thereby expressing your nature of love, and the humility of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Act: Don’t wait for others to greet you today; be the first to greet people nicely and with a kind smile. That’s one good way to honour others.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
