HEIRS OF BONDAGE BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

The human spirit is influenced by principles, relationships, and actions. They control your plans, purposes, and pursuit in life. They decide or alter destinies.

1. Principles

A principle is a moral rule or belief or assumption that controls, influences or explains personal conduct or behaviour of a society. It explains why or how something works or happens the way it does. It’s also a physic theory or truth, an idea that forms the basis of anything.

Sometimes people have their own principles created consciously or unconsciously. Example, we say the Korean do things like this. The Africans, Nigerians, yorubas do things like this. These things are not written down but they form them through certain beliefs, certain assumptions, certain ideas.

Like someone that says he doesnt belief in God. if you ask why, he will say that’s just me, i just dont. Why? Because he is living out a particular idea or belief in his mind

2. Relationship

Relationships can be biological, geographical, emotional, spiritual.

The family you come from, those who live around you. Proximity-just by meeting them everyday.

Your friends, those that make you happy.
They have an influence in your life
Your spiritual relationship with God, demons, and angels.

3. Actions
Your actions have something to do with your whole life. It’s not about now. Its about the impact those action is going to have on the rest of your life. Even if you say let’s move on wherever you move to has been already affected by your actions.

Some people inherit bondage. They inherit darkness . They will go the way their grand father, their father went.Their dad was full of anger they will be like him. The point is not if you said you wont be like him, its if you are taking the same steps that took him where he is. Heirs of bondage, they go the way the society goes. They are not different from those that live among them. Relocating your cities wont change anything. It’s not where you live in the physical world, it’s where you live in the spirit that counts.
Matthew 23 : 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto your self that ye are the children that killed the prophets.

They said we would never have been like our fathers that did those things. We will never have joined to kill the prophets.  It’s not just by saying that. What about the principle, what about the relationship, What about the actions?

Why did peter deny Jesus even after he said he wouldn’t.

Until you say blessed is he that comes in the name of the lord.” That’s the solution  The recognition and welcoming of Christ is the only way for the change.

Make sure your life as a Christian is as the word says. Stay focused on the word. Let the word have dominion over your thoughts over your opinion. You carry a camp around with you, it shows light to those around it, It doesnt have strong beams.

The Christian life is a journey. Everyday is a fresh day to serve God . Everyday is a new day to walk in the light

Revelation 2: 25  That which you have already hold fast till I come. Because of the possibility of losing it. People loose their healings. Revelation 3:11 behold I come quickly. Hold that fast which thou has that no one take it from you.

Do you want to see someone else doing what God told you to do? It’s one of the deepest pain and life in this earth is not enough to feel this pain.

Dont go too far, some people play games with the spirit until they go too far  Theres a crown waiting Hebrews 12: 14 follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the lord. Looking diligently less any man fail of the grace of God any root of bitterness springing up and thereby many be defiled.

When someone is bitter you may endanger yourself by going to him. We are not the ones that started christianity it’s not new. Find out those who walked the walk and those who fell by the way side.

We dont do things for the church we do it for God. We give to God not to the church. We bring it to the church because that’s where God described to bring it to him. You cant get anything from the church. The church didnt promise you nothing. The only promise you have is from God.

If you didnt create your dog but can have a plan for it. Why wonder why you should follow the plan of God for your life The best thing is to discover that plan and walk in it. The spirit of God is with us always let him carry out his ministry in your life a situation you cant face he will help you face it. Things you like to stop but you dont know how. The holy spirit is the answer if you let him he will help you.

Not everyone wants a change. Be ye not unequally yoked. Dont be under the same yoke with one who is not a Christian.

What fellowship has a Christian with an unbeliever Christ with belial (the devil) Temple with idols ?You are the temple of God.

When jesus said it is finished the curtain was divided into two the holy of holies was open and God departed from the there. and was taken to heaven. When jesus came back the church was born and you became the temple of God.No wonder you can never be defeated.

HOW TO DISCOVER JESUS CHRIST AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

Published

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ;

DISCOVER JESUS AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

Saturday, November 7th.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

Man doesn’t know reality until he finds Jesus, the Son of the living God. But who exactly is Jesus, the man of Galilee? First, He’s the Word- incarnate. This is an amazing truth. Think about it: Your word is the expression of who you are. It’s the expression of your views, opinions, thoughts, emotions, and ideas.

In the same way, the Word of God is the totality of God’s thoughts, ideas, opinions, will, and emotions. John 1:14 NKJV tells us that God’s Word was personified, and the result was the man, Jesus: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us….”

His laughter was God laughing; His smiles were the smiles of God. When He stretched out His hand, that was God stretching out His hand. When He loved, it was God’s love manifested. Everything He did was the expression of God.

Secondly, He’s the character and essence of God. The Bible tells us something beautiful about Him in Hebrews 1:3: “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person….” He’s the perfect personification of the abstract idealisation of God.

In the world, the term “God” doesn’t convey a person; it conveys an idea. God doesn’t make sense to the human mind, because they can’t find or define Him. The Bible, however, presents Jesus as God’s perfect imprint, the icon of the unseen God.

Thirdly, Jesus Christ is the glory of the Father. He’s the outshining of the Father’s glory, the radiance of the Father.

The world doesn’t understand why we can be so passionate about the man, Jesus. Until you know Jesus, God will only be an idea to you. Your search, however, stops when you meet this awesome, glorious, Lord of heaven and earth. That’s why we tell people, “Discover Jesus!” When you discover Him, you discover reality; you discover life.

CONFESSION

As Jesus is, so am I; I’m one with Him! In Him, I live, and move and have my being. I have His righteousness, life, and nature in me. I’m the effulgence of His glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, I think, act, and live as His perfect representation. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: || Colossians 1:15-19 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell; ||

|| Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. ||

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Published

on

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord. He’s come to dwell within you and has mingled with your spirit.
His purpose from the foundation of the world was to be inseparably united with you.

He’s one with Jesus; He was so much one with Jesus that when Philip asked Jesus in John 14, “Show us the Father and we will be satisfied,” His response to Philip was, “Have I been such a long time with you and have you not known me, Philip?” Then He added, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me.”

He wanted us to understand His oneness with the Father, and that oneness with the Father is what He brought us into. 1 John 1:3 NKJV tells us,* “…truly our fellowship (our oneness, our union) *is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.”

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

Jesus prayed about this before He went to the Cross; referring to all those who’d believe in Him, He said, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us…” (John 17:21). He so wanted us to be inseparably one with Him and the Father that the world wouldn’t be able to separate us from Him. And that’s what has happened. Even the angels are enthused by this, because they now look at us, and see Jesus! That’s Christianity—Christ in you; the Father’s Kingdom at work in you. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This was all God ever wanted, but it was a mystery from the foundation of the world (Colossians 1:26-27). But blessed be God! The Lord Jesus gave us His life to make it possible. Now, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us, because we’re one with Him; you’re His heir, and a joint-heir with Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, what a great honour and privilege it is to be inseparably one with you. I’ll always be a victor, and walk in sync with your perfect will for me because you guide me in all things. Thank you for the guidance, promptings and blessings I receive through the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
*Ephesians 5:30; *
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

*Colossians 1:18; *
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 15:5 AMPC
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
