Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

“Thank you!” are two of the most powerful words you can utter. Train yourself to be quick to express gratitude with them.

TO THE BIBLE 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

LET’S TALK

The Bible records a certain day when the Lord Jesus met ten lepers who needed His healing touch. They cried out to Him for mercy and the Master told them to go and show themselves to the priest. While on their way, they discovered they had been cleansed. But surprisingly, only one of them returned to the Lord to express his gratitude.

The Lord Jesus, observing he was the only one who had returned to say, “Thank you,” turned to him and said, “Your faith has made you whole.” His extremities were restored to him! He received something much more than healing; he was made whole (Luke 17:19).

Can you see why it pays to be a grateful person? The man wasn’t expecting anything more; all he came back to do was to say “Thank you,” and he received a greater miracle than the others. When you learn to express gratitude to God and to people for what they do for you, angels will always be mobilized on your behalf, and you’ll experience even more favour, joy and promotion in your life.

Always be quick to say “Thank you.” It shows you’re appreciative, and that leaves in the heart of the hearer an indelible impression of your sincere gratitude.

Go Deeper: Luke 17:15-19

Pray: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for teaching me the importance of expressing gratitude. I’ll never neglect to say, “Thank you” for the favour and kindness shown towards me. I thank you for giving me a grateful heart, and for helping me show it to everyone you use to bless me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Act: Thank you Lord”; have you said that today? Go ahead and give thanks to the Lord for the beautiful life He’s given you.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
