Your Mind Is Your Capital

“Everyone admires a man with good sense, but a man with a warped mind is despised” (Proverbs 12:7 TLB).

There are too many people who think the most important requirement for success is money. So they go for money, and all their lives, they keep going for more of it until they eventually get frustrated. That’s not how to become a success. Success always begins with a dream. Joseph was a young man who had a dream of success. His brothers envied him for his dream and tried to kill him. But they couldn’t kill him. Instead, they sold him into slavery in Egypt. It’s hard to kill a man with a dream. Joseph’s dream kept him alive until it eventually came to pass. If you have a dream and you’re disciplined enough to pursue it, nothing can ever stop it from coming to pass. The only person that can kill your dream is you. Your dream in life shouldn’t be about how or where to get money. Instead, it should be about improving your world to be a better place than you met it. To realize your dream, you need capital, and by that, I don’t necessarily mean money. Money is not the most important capital you need to realize your dream. The first and most vital capital is your mind. That’s what determines whether you become a success or not. Your mind is where earth-shaking ideas are born. Those ideas, if properly harnessed, are more valuable than money. Money is a slave of your ideas. If you nurse your ideas long enough and discipline yourself in the direction of your ideas, money will eventually come looking for you. It’s important what you set your mind upon everyday. Get rid of the wrong stuff that won’t do your mind any good and go for edifying and educative material that will help you think right.  Polish your ideas; refine them and get ready for a great future!

Welcome Trouble

“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience” (James 1:2-4 Amp).

Often, we hear some Christians make statements such as “I don’t want any trouble, I just want to live a very simple life.” It’s like saying, “I just want to go to school, I don’t want to take any examination” and we all know that, that’s not possible. Examination is a part and parcel of our learning process and the educational system, so also are troubles, challenges and trials of life. Brother James says we should be wholly joyful when we face challenges, but that’s an impossible feat to some folks. It’s all because they have not taken time to study their Bibles. There can be no excellence without an examination, so also there can be no victories without challenges. The reason you’re going through that situation is that you’re more than equal to the task. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 the Bible says “…God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure…” (Amp), so the problem came to you because you could handle it. There’s no problem today that’s without solution; every problem gravitates to its solution. So you see, the solution is with you and inside you; take up the challenge today! This is why I tell people “Welcome trouble!” I’m never afraid of trouble as it’s always an opportunity for me to shine. I get my kicks from challenges; I like it when trouble comes. The book of Proverbs 24:10 says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” and how true this is. You must strengthen your heart with God’s Word everyday, so that you’ll be strong enough to face the challenges of life.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 CORINTHIANS  12:9; 1 JOHN 4:4

“When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (Psalm 126:1-3).

There are times you pray, not about anything in particular, and you’re full of God’s glory, enraptured in joy indescribable. You laugh and shout because you’re full of joy in the Holy Ghost. Whenever this happens to you, don’t stop to wonder what’s happening to you, for that’s the way to bring forth from the realm of the spirit . When you’re experiencing these things in your spirit, you’re getting ready for the manifestation of the Spirit in your life; you’re getting ready for miracles. This is the realm of visions; it’s the time to see things in the realm of the spirit. It’s not the time to start thinking, “Let’s come back to reality.” You’re in reality! “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). This means we respond to the Word of God from our human spirit and not from our senses. That’s why I say faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God; it isn’t a leap in the dark. There’s something in us that makes all things possible, and that’s the Spirit of God. When you begin to see in the realm of visions, you’ll see that you’re already in possession of your desire. Respond by taking hold of it in your spirit; proclaim and declare with faith in your heart and it’ll surely manifest in the physical realm.

FURTHER STUDY: JOEL 2:28

“…God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

God doesn’t mind at all that you’re facing a challenge in your life. Surprised? Well, you don’t have to be, for that’s what the Bible says. In fact, He’s very happy and excited about that situation you may be facing today. The reason is that He knows you can change the situation and turn it into a testimony that’ll glorify Him. The reason that unique problem came to you is that you’re a unique person. So quit complaining about it; God expects you to provide the world with its solution. He’s waiting for you to share the testimony of how you solved that unique problem. You see, problems gravitate towards their solution, hence, that challenge you’re facing was created and tailor-made specifically for you! The solution to that problem or situation is with you. You can locate it through the Word (Psalm 119:105). Remember that Joseph had dreams of greatness as a boy but faced several challenges. He was sold as a slave into Egypt, falsely accused and imprisoned for several years. At that point, he could have complained about his problems and given up on his dream of success. He however knew it was all part of the process. Miraculously, he moved from being a prisoner to becoming Prime Minister in one day (Genesis 41), Hallelujah! The challenges Joseph faced were tailor-made for him, and they turned out to be his stepping stones to greatness. I encourage you today to change your attitude about the challenges you face. It doesn’t matter what you’re going through, just know that you have the answer in you. Always remember that “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28)

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
