Don’t just say what you think, feel, or see. Choose your words carefully, and speak right at all times.

TO THE BIBLE James 3:2 TLB

“If anyone can control his tongue, it proves that he has perfect control over himself in every other way.”

LET’S TALK

1st Man: “If truly you’re the Son of God, do something about our situation; save yourself and us!”

2nd Man: “Don’t say that! We’re paying the price for our sins, but this man has done nothing to be treated this way.”

Do you remember this dialogue? It was the conversation between the two thieves crucified alongside Jesus at Golgotha. While one spoke carelessly, the other was careful with his words, and the Bible records that Jesus assured him that he would be with Him in paradise. Both men were in the same situation but ended up in different destinations, the difference being their communication.

While one couldn’t see beyond his present predicament in the physical realm, and spoke accordingly, the other looked beyond what he could feel or see and spoke right. This shows how imperative it is for you to consider the words you speak. Don’t talk carelessly; learn to choose your words carefully before you speak. There’re so many people who aren’t conscious of their words; they just say anything and everything they feel, see and think. Don’t be that way!

Always remember that your words are powerful and God takes them seriously. He wants you to declare His Word always and inspire the faith of God in the hearts of those listening to you.

Go Deeper: Proverbs 10:20, Matthew 12:36

Pray: Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me to talk right. I’m yielded to the leading of your Spirit as He guides me to choose the right words in my communication. My words are full of faith and the power of God. They bring life and upliftment to all those who hear me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Act: Today, whether you’re leading a conversation or responding to a statement, ask the Holy Spirit to help you choose your words before you speak.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
