The Importance of Prayer

Cultured By the Word of God By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

God is not concerned about sin,he has settled the problem of sin with Jesus Christ,God is not mad at you but excited about you 2 Corinthians 5:19,that is,that God was in christ reconcilling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them, and he has committed to us the message of reconcilliation.when Christ was on that cross God was in Him.John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.it is a sovereign declaration from almighty God.If you feel you’re going down,if you feel like you’re perishing say ‘NO’ i refuse to perish, there is a law that has separarted me.

It doesnt matter how that flood his,it doesnt matter the circumstances, say i refuse to perish.believe to do,hear to do.God gave us the word for a reason.James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. In the old testament, they were told to obey the word of God but in the new testament we do the word of God.In the old testament the word of God was an outside force but in the new testament it is an internal force. The word of God is in us,we were born of the word, the word gave birth to us.what God wants is for us to be so inundated with the word of God.As the word is been given to our consciousness we act accordingly.Jesus is the word of God in flesh,we are the offspring.

Jesus didn’t just come and die and save us from our sin, christianity does not begin from the cross, it begins from the ressurection.when you believe in your heart that God raised jesus from the dead, that lordship of Jesus breaks the dominion of darkness, the dominion of sin from your life.Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. We are in the kingdom of light, every one of us his the light,we are offspring of the word, the word brings faith to our spirit,we are the word in flesh,we see through the word,we understand by the word,He gave us the word to renew our mind. Forgetting is not part of your spirit, your spirit remembers.

He’s given us a culture to live by,the holyspirit never works without the word,God speaks and the holyspirit carries it out.when we learn to express his thoughts we live continually in victory, winning always,we then realize no circumstance can subdue us.1 John 1:1 That which was from the the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled;of the word of life;2 (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it,and bear witness, and shew unto you eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested unto us.You cant speak what you don’t know).3 that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye may also have fellowship with us:and truly our fellowship is with the father, and with the son Jesus christ.

Christ is the word of God;meaning we’re the epistle of christ, written by the spirit of the living God.You are not an ordinary person.

HOW TO DISCOVER JESUS CHRIST AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ;

DISCOVER JESUS AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

Saturday, November 7th.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

Man doesn’t know reality until he finds Jesus, the Son of the living God. But who exactly is Jesus, the man of Galilee? First, He’s the Word- incarnate. This is an amazing truth. Think about it: Your word is the expression of who you are. It’s the expression of your views, opinions, thoughts, emotions, and ideas.

In the same way, the Word of God is the totality of God’s thoughts, ideas, opinions, will, and emotions. John 1:14 NKJV tells us that God’s Word was personified, and the result was the man, Jesus: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us….”

His laughter was God laughing; His smiles were the smiles of God. When He stretched out His hand, that was God stretching out His hand. When He loved, it was God’s love manifested. Everything He did was the expression of God.

Secondly, He’s the character and essence of God. The Bible tells us something beautiful about Him in Hebrews 1:3: “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person….” He’s the perfect personification of the abstract idealisation of God.

In the world, the term “God” doesn’t convey a person; it conveys an idea. God doesn’t make sense to the human mind, because they can’t find or define Him. The Bible, however, presents Jesus as God’s perfect imprint, the icon of the unseen God.

Thirdly, Jesus Christ is the glory of the Father. He’s the outshining of the Father’s glory, the radiance of the Father.

The world doesn’t understand why we can be so passionate about the man, Jesus. Until you know Jesus, God will only be an idea to you. Your search, however, stops when you meet this awesome, glorious, Lord of heaven and earth. That’s why we tell people, “Discover Jesus!” When you discover Him, you discover reality; you discover life.

CONFESSION

As Jesus is, so am I; I’m one with Him! In Him, I live, and move and have my being. I have His righteousness, life, and nature in me. I’m the effulgence of His glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, I think, act, and live as His perfect representation. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: || Colossians 1:15-19 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell; ||

|| Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. ||

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Published

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord. He’s come to dwell within you and has mingled with your spirit.
His purpose from the foundation of the world was to be inseparably united with you.

He’s one with Jesus; He was so much one with Jesus that when Philip asked Jesus in John 14, “Show us the Father and we will be satisfied,” His response to Philip was, “Have I been such a long time with you and have you not known me, Philip?” Then He added, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me.”

He wanted us to understand His oneness with the Father, and that oneness with the Father is what He brought us into. 1 John 1:3 NKJV tells us,* “…truly our fellowship (our oneness, our union) *is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.”

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

Jesus prayed about this before He went to the Cross; referring to all those who’d believe in Him, He said, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us…” (John 17:21). He so wanted us to be inseparably one with Him and the Father that the world wouldn’t be able to separate us from Him. And that’s what has happened. Even the angels are enthused by this, because they now look at us, and see Jesus! That’s Christianity—Christ in you; the Father’s Kingdom at work in you. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This was all God ever wanted, but it was a mystery from the foundation of the world (Colossians 1:26-27). But blessed be God! The Lord Jesus gave us His life to make it possible. Now, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us, because we’re one with Him; you’re His heir, and a joint-heir with Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, what a great honour and privilege it is to be inseparably one with you. I’ll always be a victor, and walk in sync with your perfect will for me because you guide me in all things. Thank you for the guidance, promptings and blessings I receive through the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
*Ephesians 5:30; *
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

*Colossians 1:18; *
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 15:5 AMPC
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
