FAITH NEVER FAILS Don’t Give Up On God

The Woman with the Issue of Blood in the Bible Explained By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Changing difficult situations with God’s Word . Mark 5:25-34 This story is about the woman with the issue of blood. The bible says that this woman had suffered for twelve long years and she had become poor from paying the doctors, she didn’t get better and her condition worsened. The bible says she heard of Jesus and she said to herself if I may but touch the helm of his garment I shall be whole .

When she got there she saw that there were so many people around Jesus but her faith was unmoved. She went through the press and touched Jesus and she was healed.

This is remarkable, the power didn’t originate in his clothes, the miracle was not about what Jesus wore, the power was in Jesus and the power was transmitted to his clothes.

But that’s not the point I want us to see, what i want us to see is what really happened. The bible says the woman touched the helm of his garment and the fountain of her blood was dried up, she touched the helm of his garment and the flow of blood stopped. Jesus didn’t do anything about it, Jesus didnt try to heal the woman. See verse 30 of the same chapter.

FAITH NEVER FAILS Don’t Give Up On God

The bible says Jesus knew that power had gone out of him. The woman pulled power out of Jesus and Jesus didn’t do anything about it, he didn’t try make the power flow, he didn’t cause the woman to be healed , he didnt even take notice of the woman, the woman pulled power out of Jesus.

This shows that the woman had a choice, she made a choice and she didn’t think if Jesus will let the power come her , or if Jeus will like her enough to heal her, she didnt think about her sin.

She went, touched , got the miracle and tried to sneak away.

The Bible says Jesus knowing in himself that power had gone out of him asked who touched me, he didnt say Jesus knew about the woman or Jesus had a revelation, he says Jesus recognised that power had gone out of him.

The disciples asked him thou sees the multitude pressed on you how can you say who touched me?

The miracle therefore didnt happen because of the touch, because everybody was touching, everybody could have said I have got something i touched Jesus. so the disciples were surprised that Jesus was asking for who touched him and Jesus kept on looking around to see who has touched him.

So even in the midst of a crowd you can make a choice to recieve. It doesnt matter who else is doing what you are doing, you can make a choice. Everybody maybe touching but that doesnt make any difference because you know what you believe.

Here’s what inspired that woman, I am going to touch him and am going to be healed , somebody else may be touching him but no power flowed. Jesus felt power leave him, all others touched him and nothing happened.

You are the one to single yourself out, the woman went through the press and touched his garment and power flowed.

Jesus said unto her daughter thy faith has made thee whole, He didnt say my power has made you whole, of my faith has made you whole. it was her faith so her faith pulled power of of Jesus, so Jesus had nothing to do with it, it wasn’t a matter of Jesus coming to town and saying I want to heal this person and don’t want to heal this person.

As some people will say whenever God wants to heal me He will heal me or whenever God wants to do it for me I know He will do it for me. It doesn’t matter that you are crying my God will never fail me, whenever He wants to He will do it for me, that is not faith and that is not what the Bible says.

Faith is Now. whenever God is going to do it He will do it, is not Faith. It doesn’t matter how many times you pray that prayer.

A lot of times people think that the more prayer they pray the better for them so they say “I have engaged many people to to pray for me” they think if they have enough people praying for they he will respond, he cant deny three thousand people.

They think this way because they are ignorant of the bible, they have forgotten that one time the whole world was destroyed and only one family was saved.

When you look into the future from the book of revelation there are multitudes that will go to hell.

Somebody said do you think God will just pack so many people to hell? they have not read the Bible, it has nothing to do with numbers.

Theres a feeling we have about suffering, if I find out am not the only one in the matter I am more comfortable. Dont look at life like that.

Life is very personal, our salvation is very personal, our relationship with God is very personal, don’t use other people to determine your life. It matters how you hear God and how you respond to God.

If you were the only one on earth Jesus would still have come to die for you, that is what the Bible teaches.

He didn’t come because we were many. you are unique as an individual, nobody was ever like you, nobody will ever be like you, you are the only one of you that God has and he will ever have . Make a choice to be the best for God. Nobody can do things the way you do, nobody can say it the way you do.

Unbelief can cause the power of God to fail Mark 6: 1-6 all you need is your faith to act on Gods word. Accept what he says that is faith.

HOW TO DISCOVER JESUS CHRIST AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

Published

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ;

DISCOVER JESUS AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

Saturday, November 7th.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

Man doesn’t know reality until he finds Jesus, the Son of the living God. But who exactly is Jesus, the man of Galilee? First, He’s the Word- incarnate. This is an amazing truth. Think about it: Your word is the expression of who you are. It’s the expression of your views, opinions, thoughts, emotions, and ideas.

In the same way, the Word of God is the totality of God’s thoughts, ideas, opinions, will, and emotions. John 1:14 NKJV tells us that God’s Word was personified, and the result was the man, Jesus: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us….”

His laughter was God laughing; His smiles were the smiles of God. When He stretched out His hand, that was God stretching out His hand. When He loved, it was God’s love manifested. Everything He did was the expression of God.

Secondly, He’s the character and essence of God. The Bible tells us something beautiful about Him in Hebrews 1:3: “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person….” He’s the perfect personification of the abstract idealisation of God.

In the world, the term “God” doesn’t convey a person; it conveys an idea. God doesn’t make sense to the human mind, because they can’t find or define Him. The Bible, however, presents Jesus as God’s perfect imprint, the icon of the unseen God.

Thirdly, Jesus Christ is the glory of the Father. He’s the outshining of the Father’s glory, the radiance of the Father.

The world doesn’t understand why we can be so passionate about the man, Jesus. Until you know Jesus, God will only be an idea to you. Your search, however, stops when you meet this awesome, glorious, Lord of heaven and earth. That’s why we tell people, “Discover Jesus!” When you discover Him, you discover reality; you discover life.

CONFESSION

As Jesus is, so am I; I’m one with Him! In Him, I live, and move and have my being. I have His righteousness, life, and nature in me. I’m the effulgence of His glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, I think, act, and live as His perfect representation. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: || Colossians 1:15-19 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell; ||

|| Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. ||

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Published

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord. He’s come to dwell within you and has mingled with your spirit.
His purpose from the foundation of the world was to be inseparably united with you.

He’s one with Jesus; He was so much one with Jesus that when Philip asked Jesus in John 14, “Show us the Father and we will be satisfied,” His response to Philip was, “Have I been such a long time with you and have you not known me, Philip?” Then He added, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me.”

He wanted us to understand His oneness with the Father, and that oneness with the Father is what He brought us into. 1 John 1:3 NKJV tells us,* “…truly our fellowship (our oneness, our union) *is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.”

Being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, you’re one with the Lord.

Jesus prayed about this before He went to the Cross; referring to all those who’d believe in Him, He said, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us…” (John 17:21). He so wanted us to be inseparably one with Him and the Father that the world wouldn’t be able to separate us from Him. And that’s what has happened. Even the angels are enthused by this, because they now look at us, and see Jesus! That’s Christianity—Christ in you; the Father’s Kingdom at work in you. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This was all God ever wanted, but it was a mystery from the foundation of the world (Colossians 1:26-27). But blessed be God! The Lord Jesus gave us His life to make it possible. Now, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us, because we’re one with Him; you’re His heir, and a joint-heir with Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, what a great honour and privilege it is to be inseparably one with you. I’ll always be a victor, and walk in sync with your perfect will for me because you guide me in all things. Thank you for the guidance, promptings and blessings I receive through the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
*Ephesians 5:30; *
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

*Colossians 1:18; *
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 15:5 AMPC
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
