But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us” (2 Corinthians 4:7).

I hate myself.” “There’s nothing good in me.” Have you ever met folks who talk this way? Such people sometimes wouldn’t even look at themselves in the mirror anymore. It’s a pity that many people don’t know their worth. It’s your responsibility to know what you’re worth, to discover the treasure God has placed in you and use it to beautify your life. The Bible says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). So you see, you’re God’s best and He wants you to discover the treasures He’s deposited in you. He gave you the necessary material, which is His Word, so you can live in glory. It’s your responsibility to discover your worth by studying the Word. If you could only look inward and use the Word to build yourself up, you’ll always value yourself. The Word is your mirror: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). As you discover your worth, you’ll also discover God’s purpose for your life. You’re valuable to Him, that’s why He placed you on the earth to affect the lives of many in this world. You have to acknowledge what He has deposited in you and walk in the light of it.

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21).

The Bible doesn’t say some things are yours or only spiritual things are yours but that all things are yours! That means there’s nothing you need today that hasn’t been made available to you by God. This is one reason you must study the Bible; it’s the book of your inheritance. There’s no way you can appropriate the blessings of God to your life if you don’t know the Word. The Bible is a Book of good news that tells you all the beautiful things God has blessed you with. When you get to know what belongs to you, your struggles will be over. The solution to the problems of most folks in the Body of Christ is not prayer. I see people who go about asking others, “Please pray for me; I need a break-through,” but there’s no situation you can’t change by yourself! Quit looking for someone to wave the magic wand over you or offer spiritual pronouncements for a breakthrough in your life. The ability to cause the changes you require is inside you. Use what you have. There’s power in your tongue, use it! For how long will you rely on the prayers of others to put you over in life? God intention is not for you to be a victim of the circumstances of life, nor does He want you to be subject to satan. He has made you a master over satan. He wants you to live a victorious life through His Word. Get a hold of His Word, study it and discover your inheritance in God. Your life will not remain the same!

FURTHER STUDY: ACTS 20:32

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

All over the world we hear about earthquakes, wars, famines, floods, outbreak of new diseases and so on. We’re frequently bombarded with the reports of places ravaged by these destructive elements. These however are some of the signs which the Bible says would precede the end of the age. The gruesome pictures painted have filled the hearts of many people with fear, apprehension and despondency. Amidst all these, God is raising a mighty generation of believers that don’t know enough to worry, for they’re well grounded on God’s Word. I’m not saying they’re naïve or completely ignorant of what’s going on in their environment. They’ve simply chosen to fill their minds with God’s Word, rather, than worldly information. They’re like little children who don’t have enough information to worry about anything, for they’re assured and confident they’ll get whatever they desire from their parents. They’ve chosen to let God’s Word dominate their hearts rather than the news media reports. Thus, they’re more God-conscious than man-conscious! The Lord Jesus said in Mark 10:15, “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” Just as a little child trusts his parents to look out for him, we also should trust God to make everything work out for our good (Romans 8:28). You’re a part of this generation that God is raising and this is the attitude He wants you to have. If you want to live above the dominion of the forces of darkness in the world, especially at the close of this age, you must fill your mind with God’s Word rather than with the headline news or any other information that talks about the things satan is doing. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 JOHN 5:4-5; LUKE 21:25-26

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (Mark 13:31).

God is faithful and His Word concerning you never changes; it’s always constant.  Anytime you open your Bible to read, God’s Word in it is the same but it comes to you fresh and brings new revelations to your spirit. In fact, you may read the same scriptures everyday, and yet receive new revelations from them each day. That’s the power of God’s Word: it never changes but it causes changes for good, Hallelujah! However, man—especially the sense-ruled man—is not constant. He walks according to his senses; he moves and acts by the way he feels. That’s why his love is fickle and you can’t hold him to his word. God can’t work with such people who go back on their words. Whatever God has said concerning you remains; it’ll never change. You might change your opinion of Him, but He wouldn’t change His opinion of you. No wonder Paul said even when we are faithless He remains faithful to His Word, as He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13); not one jot or tittle of it shall pass away without being fulfilled (Matthew 5:18). You can depend on Him, for His Word never changes.

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart!

SEPTEMBER 14, 2020: HE HAS MY HEART!

I declare that I’m in Christ, born again and full of the Holy Spirit. He has my heart! I have the life and nature of God in my heart. There’s a change in my heart; a transformation inside. I experience transformation and glory in my soul and body as a result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in my spirit. The Kingdom of God is set up in my heart. The Holy Spirit finds expression in my heart, dispensing His love through me. Out of the good treasures of my heart, I bring forth good. I’m mightily blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m a life-giver. Thank You dear Father, for setting up your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. I pray for the unsaved around the world, that their hearts be open to receive the Gospel, and be saved; that your power for salvation will mantle their hearts even now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

It’s Important To Know And Use What You’ve Got In Christ

Rhapsody of Realities Confessions

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020: HE’S WITH ME AND IN ME!

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my comforter, helper, teacher, guide, standby, counsellor and advocate. He’s with me and in me; therefore, I can never be in the dark or miss my way in life. He lives in my heart and abides with me forever. I’m conscious of His presence in my life. Irrespective of what I may face in my life, divinity is at work in me! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I’m manifesting Christ; Christ in me, the hope of glory! Heaven is in me; The fullness of the Godhead is fully tabernacled in me, and expressed through me! Thank You dear Father, for the great honour and blessing of having Christ live in me by the Holy Spirit; by virtue of His indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do the will of God, and live triumphantly over the devices of the evil one and the corrupting influences in this world. Hallelujah!
